We recommend setting up your Blocks when you first start using Dentascribe.
Blocks are lists of options that are shared across multiple templates. For example, your list of Clinicians or Local Anaesthetics.
When you update a Block, the changes appear instantly in every template that uses that list. This saves you from having to update every template individually.
1. Open Template Library > Blocks
Go to Template Library in the sidebar and select Blocks.
2. Customise Your Lists
You will see a list of Blocks that you can edit. The most common ones to set up are:
- Clinicians: Add the names of dentists and therapists at your practice.
- Assistants: Add the names of your dental nurses.
- Local Anaesthetics: List the specific LA solutions you use.
Click on a Block to edit it. You can add new options, delete ones you don’t need, or change the order.
