Snippets lets you create your own snippets for text you feel you’re typing again and again, such as common discussions. You can insert them anywhere into your notes using the slash ’/’ panel.
1. Open the Template Library
Go to Template library → Snippets
2. Create a snippet
- Click Create snippet
- Give your snippet a name
- Copy and paste your snippet into the text box and click Create snippet.
Dentascribe will process your text and create a structured snippet with clickable options.
3. Review and refine your snippet
After Dentascribe has created your snippet, you can preview it to make sure it’s how you expected.
If you want to make further changes, use the editing sidebar to describe changes in plain English (e.g., “Remove the label from the advice line”, “Remove the OH line”).
Click Keep changes to save any changes you make.
Using your snippet
Just like the pre-built snippets and templates, you can insert your own snippet into a note by pressing / on any line to open the slash panel, searching for your snippet by name, and pressing Tab to insert.
